The Knights JH/SH Cross Country teams traveled to the SES Invitational today. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The runners ran outstanding and turned in many PR's. The Varsity girls team placed 5th and the Varsity boys 8th.
The 8th grade boys raced 2 miles with the following results: Evan Feist 17th, Jake Koksal 37th, Easton Relph 38th and Reed Sauber 42nd.
The high school raced a 5K. For Varsity girls, Sophomore Mia Hamilton led the Lady Knights with a 19th place finish. Caroline Stone followed close behind in 21st, Libby Kierscht 25th, Bethany Campa 40th, Aundrea Ibarra 45th, Karrigan Thompson 64th, and Eli Campa 70th.
For Varsity boys, Senior Brady Wells led the Knights with a 7th place finish. Following were Leo Dorzweiler in 13th, Jaden King 49th, Cruz Suarez 61st, and Graham Armstrong in 65th.
For JV boys Wyatt Donatell placed 46th and Tyler Penn 47th. The top 25 medaled in the Varsity races.

The Knights Junior and Senior High cross country teams traveled to the Bennington Invitational held at Rock City today. Due to the heat, the junior high races were cut to 1 mile and the high school races were 2 miles. The top 5 in junior high medaled and the top 20 in high school medaled. The Varsity girls took 2nd overall while the boys Varsity took 3rd.
Results for the 8th grade boys one mile race: Evan Feist 3rd, Jake Koksal 6th, Reed Sauber 7th and Easton Relph 8th.

Congratulations to the girls tennis team for their performance at yesterday's match at Clay Center!
The #1 doubles team of Tylar DeWeese and Elli Reed went undefeated and finished 1st at the quad, while Lucy Geitz, Braelyn Johnson in singles and the #2 doubles team of Brooklyn Covert and Yuki Cao continued to show improvement in each of their matches.


Salina Regional Health Center will be providing on site flu vaccines Thursday, October 17 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sacred Heart Jr. Sr. High School. This is during parent teacher conferences. All are welcome (children 6 months and older, students, parents, grandparents, SH and SMGS friends and supporters).
Please bring your insurance card. If you have state insurance, we will unfortunately NOT be able to provide the vaccine at Sacred Heart. Those with state insurance may go to the vaccine clinics at ComCare sites, SRHC Pediatric Care, and Salina Family Healthcare for their vaccine.

The Knights High School cross country teams traveled to Hesston today to compete in the Hesston Invitational. The girls team brought home 3rd place in the 1-2-3A division. Each class level ran their own race. Results are as follow for 1-2-3A: Freshman girls: Aundrea Ibarra 27th. Sophomore girls: Mia Hamilton 6th, Karrigan Thompson 32nd, Eli Campa 33rd. Senior girls: Caroline Stone 3rd, Libby Kierscht 4th, Bethany Campa 8th. Freshman boys: Leo Dorzweiler 3rd, Wyatt Donatell 54th. Sophomore boys: Dorian White 42nd, Cruz Suarez 44th, Graham Armstrong 45th, and Tyler Penn 57th Junior boys: Jett Jones 50th, Jiwon Park 52nd. Senior boys: Brady Wells 9th.
